Hi, I’m Donna Quiroz, LCSW.
I’m a bilingual, bicultural (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience walking alongside women, children, and families as they navigate life transitions, stress, and healing.
My journey as a Latina therapist has taught me the power of culture, community, and compassion in shaping our mental health. I’ve served in leadership roles within Head Start and Early Head Start, providing mental health support for families and mentoring other professionals in the field.
Why I do this work: I know how important it is to have a therapist who not only understands clinical practice but also sees the whole person including culture, identity, and history.
Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me with my hijada, crafting, or curating bilingual wellness resources through Se Vale Llorar.
My Approach
Therapy is not about “fixing” you, it’s about creating space to remember who you are.
Trauma-Informed: We’ll work gently and respectfully, at a pace that feels safe.
Culturally Rooted: Therapy that honors your identity, history, and heritage.
Strengths-Based: We’ll focus on your inner resilience and natural strengths.
Mind-Body Connection: Exploring how emotions live in the body and how we can restore balance.
In session, you can expect warmth, openness, and curiosity. Together, we’ll uncover tools that feel authentic and sustainable for you.
